What marks do we create for ourselves?

This inquiry addresses intense emotions and unpleasant memories, particularly the fear of suppressed feelings through expressive mediums. Experimental techniques, such as blending charcoal powder with white gesso, spray painting, and tactile creation in darkness, confront the fear of solitude at night. Using collagraph plates and abstract shapes for varied interpretations of puzzling delusions. Ultimately, this investigation aims to visually convey chaotic and agitated feelings as I struggle between expressing emotions openly and feeling the need to conform to societal norms.
